Growing garlic creeper is fun since it grows quickly. One of the most fruitful, flowering vines you can grow is the garlic vine. Interestingly, it has a garlicky fragrance.

The tropical Mansoa alliacea, also known as the garlic vine, is a member of the Bignoniaceae, or trumpet creeper, family. The gorgeous ornamental vine known as garlic creeper has opposite leaves that are divided into two ovate leaflets. The flowers have a funnel shape and range in color from purple to white.

One of the most fruitful, flowering vines you can grow is the garlic vine. Interestingly, it has a garlicky fragrance. Only when the leaves are crushed does the plant scent, though; otherwise, it doesn’t. The reason for the fragrance is that it includes sulphur, just like allin and allyl sulphides found in garlic.
