Elaichi, Velchi, and Cardamom – Plant. This plant should be grown inside in a heated greenhouse or in a warm, shady, humid environment in semi-tropical or temperate areas (hot steamy bathrooms are excellent).
When grown indoors in pots or outdoors in semi-tropical or temperate climates, plants will not bloom or bear fruit. A perennial plant called elettaria cardammommum produces cardamom.
It features upright, stiff, and fragrant leaves that make up the aerial portion of the plant’s stems.
These stems, which range in height from two to four meters, create a canopy of leaves around the plant. Cardamom can be grown from seeds. However, the seeds you buy from a glossary shop are usually processed and not fresh.
Purchase seeds from a store or online for the greatest results.
